Get in touch

For app support, feedback, purchase questions or privacy requests, email:

contact@tonycsmith.com

Box of Whispers is provided by Tony Charles Smith. This address is the contact for the app and website. Clicking it opens your email app; it does not submit a form or start a subscription.

Help us understand what happened

Tell us which device you’re using, your iOS version, the app version if you can find it, what you expected and what happened instead. For an invitation or delivery issue, say whether the gift is saved, awaiting a recipient copy or ready to open.

A screenshot of the error can help. Cover private names, addresses and message contents wherever possible. Do not send Apple passwords, verification codes, recovery keys, full family archives or a child’s recordings unless we have agreed a specific need.

Invitation or notification trouble?

Open the invitation on the recipient’s iPhone or iPad, using the Apple account that was invited. Check the recipient email carefully, especially on a Wi-Fi-only phone. In the app, refresh iCloud and check the full opening date, including its year.

For alerts, check notification permission, Lock Screen alerts, Focus and Scheduled Summary. A future reminder needs the gift to have synced first. Our family guide explains these checks in more detail.

Purchases and refunds

Plus is planned as one purchase through Apple, with a UK launch price of £29. The website does not take payment. The price shown by Apple in the app is the price to check before confirming.

Use Restore purchases in the app when signed in with the purchasing Apple account. For a refund request, follow Apple’s refund instructions. Apple decides eligibility under its policies and applicable consumer rights.

Privacy, unwanted gifts or harmful content

If an invitation, message or family-sharing situation concerns you, contact the same support address. Use a subject such as “Privacy request” or “Unwanted gift”. Describe the problem without sending private content unnecessarily.

Do not accept further invitations from someone you do not trust. Review Apple’s sharing controls for the collection. We can help explain options, but cannot routinely inspect private iCloud recordings or remotely remove another person’s exported files.

For control of stored information, read Your data & choices and our privacy policy. Support is not an emergency service; contact the appropriate local emergency service if someone is in immediate danger.
